Canonet 28

by M. Feuerbacher 2003

The Canon Canonet 28 is a lower-end model in the same housing as the QL17 and the QL17GIII. It has a slower f/2.8 40 mm lens, no QL feature, and automatic exposure only. Gngnnn.

All Canonets require PX 625 mercury cells. They will basically function with the 1.5 V PX 625A batteries, but their electrical circuit design and meter calibration is based on the 1.35 V mercury cells with their flat voltage-time behaviour.
